COVID REFUND GUARANTEE
We want to reassure you that if you are unable to travel to take your holiday at Crag House Farm because of a National lockdown, or because you are put into a Tier where you are unable to travel, then we will guarantee you a full refund. Please note this applies only to the address given on the booking form by the lead booker and does not apply if an unidentified party member at a different address is unable to travel due to local lockdown.
It is the responsibility of the Lead Guest to acquire suitable travel insurance to cover their holiday, including Cancellation and Curtailment Protection Insurance. We strongly recommend that you take out suitable insurance which will cover you for possible cancellation of your UK holiday. Covid is now a known risk and it is possible for you to insure your holiday against it. This can include the customer or any of the party having Covid, the customer or any of the party having to isolate or quarantine, or you wishing to shield any Members of the party.
There are several suitable options which include cover for COVID-related cancellation (see below), or you can look for suitable cover on comparison sites such as GoCompare . We are not selling, promoting, endorsing or recommending any particular product, and do not benefit financially or have any formal relationship with any of these providers. COVID 19 PROTOCOLS
We are members of the ‘Professional Association of Self-Caterers’. (PASC) We will be strictly following the Governments Covid 19 guide lines which are being updated as time goes on. You can see them here
We like to personally welcome all of our guests to ensure that you are comfortable in the property and enjoying your stay. At Crag House Farm we have plenty of space and will be able to meet and speak with you from a safe distance. It is important that we are able to provide a safe environment for you to enjoy your stay. Likewise, we have to ensure the safety of our team. We will provide simple instructions for you to follow when you arrive and for your departure to help us make your stay safer and protect the NHS.
Cleaning will take extra time – we now have to ‘double clean’ and before we start that we use a fogging machine with a Government recommended Virucidal sanitiser to reach all areas – followed by our usual high level cleaning, which if you have stayed with us before you will appreciate, Covid 19 procedures now include a second clean and sanitise process.
Some things will not be in the barns as usual – for instance not all the games and books will be there, but we will furnish you with a list so you can choose and you won’t miss out.
Please look after our Septic Tank – We will leave for your use eco-friendly cleaning products for disinfecting surfaces without upsetting the water treatment system.
We sincerely hope that you will have a happy and healthy holiday. However, should a member of your party develop symptoms, the Government advice is to return to your primary residence, and self-isolate. Please let us know immediately if you develop symptoms, as the cleaning protocols for the cottages are then different.
