We are delighted to be able to welcome guests back to Crag House Farm when it is safe to do so.

We are members of the ‘Professional Association of Self-Caterers’. (PASC)  We will be strictly following the Governments Covid 19 guide lines which are being updated as time goes on. You can see them here

Cleaning will take extra time – we now have to ‘double clean’ – first our usual high level cleaning, which if you have stayed with us before you will appreciate, Covid 19 procedures now include a total second clean and sanitise process using a Government recommended Virucidal sanitiser.

Please look after our Septic Tank – We will leave for your use eco-friendly cleaning products for disinfecting surfaces without upsetting the water treatment system.

Our welcome packs will be a little different from now on!  They contain masks, disposable gloves and 80% alcohol hand sanitiser.  Everything you need for a trip to the supermarket, if you’ve forgotten to bring any with you. ?

We do like to personally welcome all of our guests to ensure that you are comfortable in the property and enjoying your stay.  At Crag House Farm we have plenty of space and will be able to meet and speak with you from a safe distance. It is important that we are able to provide a safe environment for you to enjoy your stay.  Likewise, we have to ensure the safety of our team. We will provide simple instructions for you to follow when you arrive and for your departure to help us make your stay safer and protect the NHS.

Some things will not be in the barns as usual – for instance not all the games and books will be there, but we will furnish you with a list so you can choose and you won’t miss out.

We sincerely hope that you will have a happy and healthy holiday.  However, should a member of your party develop symptoms, the Government advice is to return to your primary residence, and self-isolate there for a period of 7 days (14 days for the other group members).  Please let us know immediately if you develop symptoms, as the cleaning protocols for the cottages are then different.

We hope that you will have a fabulous holiday.  The “new normal” may be slightly different from that which we had been used to, but isn’t it great to be able to get away again. If we all take responsibility for minimising risk, we will not be required to lock down again.
