It’s always a gamble coming back to a place where you have experienced a wonderful holiday 〰️ but our second visit to Dale View hasn’t disappointed at all! Same lovely welcome, same fabulous accommodation and the same attention to little details that we appreciated so much last time. Our friends from Oz particularly appreciated the hoisting of the Australian flag for the duration of their stay. We enjoyed trips to Whitby, the Moors Centre (where there was a fine exhibition of textile art) and Helmsley. Also a trip to York in the rain where we spent much of the day drinking cocktails in the ‘Evil Eye’ (I would recommend the Espresso Martini!). But most of all, we enjoyed the views, the peace and quiet and the amazing home from home. x
