50 shades of green, an abundance of frothy white hawthorn hedges and as the bluebells and lilac gently fade away so the perky foxgloves are pushing themselves into the limelight.

The best summer smell is the new mown grass, Danny is on the case and the lawns are looking perfect…well pretty good anyway! In the garden the honeysuckle is burgeoning and from today June 1st you’ll see my pots of geraniums, petunias and trailing white lobelia.
