March saw a bit of snow at the beginning of the month but mainly sunshine across the hills of the North York Moors.  Cold bright days at first and then things began to warm up, the grass started to grow and the daffodils were on the move. Cake was eaten outside and Dippa the resident and very friendly pony loves to join in!

On March 31st Danny and I had a wonderful day at Westonbirt Arboretum, Gloucestershire celebrating the marriage of our son Toby to the lovely Rosie. It was a fun occasion and great to spend time with our 4 sons, their wives and our 3 Grandchildren.  So many Nightingales.  Here’s one for the pub quiz… A collection of Nightingales is called a WATCH of Nightingales.

April and Easter were upon us and the barns were full with families enjoying chocolate, seaside, Horse racing https://ow.ly/Lyv6U and the famous Farndale Daffodils https://ow.ly/LyuDm all bathed in glorious sunshine.

Next on our list is the Tour de Yorkshire https://ow.ly/LyjbI coming right here!
